1: Whisk flour, chocolate chips, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, & salt in a large bowl. 2: Melt 2 tbsp butter. Whisk in buttermilk & egg yolks. 3: Place egg whites in a separate bowl and whisk together. 4: Stir the wet mix into the dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in egg whites. 5: Heat a large skillet over medium heat & melt 1 tbsp butter. Scoop 2 tbsp batter into the pan. 6: Cook 2-3 min each side. 7: Top with syrup, butter, whipped cream & enjoy!
