1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and onion, and cook until the onion is translucent. 2. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, being careful not to burn the onion or garlic. 3. Pour in the heavy cream, and chicken broth. Cover and bring to a boil. 4. Once it begins to boil, add the pasta. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. 5. Add the broccoli, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook until the broccoli is tender and the pasta is al dente. 6. Stir in the parmesan cheese to create a creamy sauce. 7. Finish with more cheese, and adjust the salt and pepper to taste.
