Instructions
1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the gnocchi. Cook until they float to the top, indicating they’re done. 2: Heat 1 tbsp of Olive Oil in a medium-high heat pan. Crisp up the basil leaves, then remove and set them aside. 3: Add diced onions to the pan and cook until translucent. 4: Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant. 5: Crush the plum tomatoes by hand or with a spoon, incorporating them into the mixture. 6: Sprinkle in 1 tsp of red pepper flakes and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix the ingredients. 7: Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. 8: Add the gnocchi and remove from heat. 9: Garnish the pasta with mozzarella balls and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
