Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water. 2. In a pan over medium-high heat, add the butter and olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 3 minutes. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer and thicken for about 5 minutes. 4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss everything together. For a creamier sauce, gradually add the reserved pasta water, a little at a time. 5. Finish with extra Parmesan, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.View original recipe
