What you need

broccoli
lb chicken breast

lb steak

pepper

onion

tbsp soy sauce

zucchini

cup jasmine rice

tsp salt

splash rum
oz mushrooms

tbsp garlic

organic eggs
Instructions
1: Heat your griddle to medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. 2: Add a drizzle of oil and the minced garlic to one section of the griddle. 3: Add the rice and break it up with your spatula. Make a well in the center, crack in the eggs, and scramble. Once set, mix the eggs into the rice and season with soy sauce and Japanese BBQ sauce. Toss until everything is coated and heated through, then push to the cooler side of the griddle. 4: Season the chicken and steak cubes with salt and pepper. Add them to the hot griddle with a little oil. Cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and fully cooked. In the last few minutes, drizzle with Japanese BBQ sauce and toss to coat. 5: Make the onion volcano: Stack 3-4 large onion rings into a cone shape on the griddle. Pour a splash of rum into the center. Carefully ignite with a long lighter for a quick flame effect. Once the flame goes out, chop the onion and add it to the vegetables in the next step. 6: Add the zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli, and the remaining onions to the griddle with a bit of oil. Sauté until tender but still slightly crisp. Season with soy sauce and Japanese BBQ sauce. 7: Plate everything hibachi-style: a big scoop of fried rice, a pile of the vegetables, and the chicken and steak right on top.View original recipe
