What you need
cup pasta water

bunch parsley
tsp salt

pepper

cup tomato paste

tbsp fresh garlic

cup onion
tbsp dried italian seasoning

cup heavy cream

cup fresh parmesan cheese

oz penne pasta
Instructions
1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant. 3. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly pour in heavy cream, whisking to combine. 4. Add Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes. 5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, coating evenly. 6. Add reserved pasta water, a little at a time, if a smoother consistency is desired. 7. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley before serving.View original recipe
