What you need

tsp vanilla extract

tsp baking soda
tsp salt
egg

tbsp all purpose flour

tbsp granulated cane sugar

tbsp light-brown sugar

tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350º and prepare a baking sheet. 2. In a medium-heat saucepan, melt the butter and stir until it turns brown. You’ll notice it browning when you see foam on top and a change in color. Remove from heat and let it cool for 3 minutes. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown butter with brown sugar and white sugar. Mix well. 4. Add the egg yolk and vanilla, and mix until smooth. 5. Incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined. 6. Fold in the chocolate chips. 7. Roll the dough into 2 large cookies and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. 8.
