box sandwich cookies
Instructions
1: In a saucepan, heat the butter until it browns. Keep whisking until it foams on top and turns a nice golden brown. 2: Pour the browned butter into a bowl and let it cool for 3 minutes. 3: Mix in the sugars, whisking until it forms a sandy texture. 4: Whisk in the egg and vanilla. 5: Add the flour and baking soda, and use a rubber spatula to blend until no flour streaks remain. 6: Chop up a box of Simple Mills Nut Butter Sandwich cookies into small pieces. 7: Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped sandwich cookies, saving some of the chopped cookies to top the dough with. 8: Chill the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes. 9: Scoop the batter with an ice cream scooper. 10: Top each cookie ball with the remaining chopped dark chocolate pieces and chopped sandwich cookie pieces. 11: Preheat the oven to 350ΒΊF and bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. 12: When they come out, spin a bowl around each cookie to help shape them. 13: Top with flaky sea salt and enjoy!View original recipe
