tbsp unsalted butter

tsp baking powder

tsp baking soda

tbsp granulated sugar

cup all purpose flour

Instructions
1: Whisk flour, chocolate chips, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. 2: Melt 2 tbsp butter. Whisk in buttermilk and egg yolks. Place egg whites in a separate bowl and whisk together. 3: Stir the wet mix into the dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in egg whites. 4: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter. 5: Scoop 2 tbsp batter into the pan.
