The Viral Lasagna Soup

If you haven’t tried lasagna soup yet, it’s basically a deconstructed lasagna made simpler. It’s packed with flavor and a very filling, hearty meal.

What you need

ricotta cheese

cup spinach

cup heavy cream
cup chicken broth

oz tomato sauce

tbsp tomato paste

tsp dried basil

tsp chili flakes

tsp dried parsley
tsp dried oregano

tsp ground black pepper
tsp salt
lb ground beef

tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
clove garlic

white onion

lasagna pasta
Instructions
1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook until tender. 2. Add minced garlic and cook for 3 minutes. 3. Add ground beef and brown it. 4. Add salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, dried basil, chili flakes, and tomato paste. Stir to incorporate the spices and paste into the beef. 5. Pour in chicken broth, tomato sauce, and heavy cream, then mix to combine. 6. Break the lasagna noodles into squares and add them to the pot. Bring to a boil and cook until the noodles are al dente. 7. Toss in the spinach, cover, and cook until it wilts. 8. Finish it off with ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil.View original recipe
