A delicious and easy one-pot White Cheddar Mac & Cheese recipe made with pasta, butter, flour, half & half, milk, and a variety of seasonings, topped with shredded white cheddar cheese.

What you need

cup butter

cup flour

cup half & half

cup full fat milk

cup shredded cheddar

tsp paprika

tsp garlic powder

tsp onion powder

salt

pepper
Instructions
1: Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Reserve a cup of pasta water. 2: In the same pot, melt the butter over medium-high heat. 3: Sprinkle in the flour and whisk until a wet, sandy texture is achieved. 4: Gradually whisk in half of the half & half to ensure thorough mixing. Slowly add the remaining half & half and milk, continuing to whisk. 5: Keep whisking until the sauce thickens. 6: Add paprika, garlic & onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine the ingredients. 7: Remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until fully melted. 8: Add the cooked pasta to the cheesy sauce and stir until well-coated.
